Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Carol moved to Colorado at the age of 15 and quickly secured a job at an auto parts store. After several years in the automotive industry (including with xTime), Carol accepted an opportunity with Schomp Automotive in 2018 as the Corporate Training Manager. Schomp only had four stores at that time. Carol played an integral part in the process implementation for all Fixed Ops-related tasks, including our Service BDC, during the addition of our next eight rooftops. After graduating from the NCM General Manager Academy, Carol was ready to move on from her role as the Corporate Fixed Operations Director and take on the challenge of opening Volkswagen of Fairfield with Fairfield Automotive Partners. She is ASE-Certified, has been published in Fixed Ops Magazine, and was named in Automotive News’s 40 Under 40. Carol is a true champion of the industry and an inspiring female leader.
Hello! My name is Chris Castro. I grew up in the suburbs of Denver, playing baseball through high school and college. Before joining the Schomp Automotive Group, I worked in corporate finance, providing growth capital for local businesses throughout the Denver Metro area. After working for Schomp in Highlands Ranch, I moved to Utah to start working at the Mercedes-Benz of Farmington store out there. Now, I am happy to be opening Schomp’s newest Volkswagen store in California! I’m excited to offer you the incredible “One Price. One Person. One Hour.” philosophy that our group embodies.

Jon is from Fairfield, CA. He joined the automotive industry in 2021! He has previously worked in Property Management, Event Management, and Sales. Jon previously worked at BMW of Fairfield, our sister-company. He decided to join the VW team when we opened in June of 2023!
Some of Jon’s hobbies include fishing, camping, reading, and writing. Jon is simply a man driven by the love of his family on his quest for peace.
Lisa was born and raised in the Bay Area. She started her career in the Automotive industry right out of High School and has never looked back. Lisa has done almost every job in Parts and Service except for technician (she says they didn’t trust her with tools). Lisa moved to Solano County in 1990 to open a new store in Vacaville and start her family. She’s raised two amazing kids – her son is a Vallejo Fireman, and her daughter has also worked in the car business and the insurance industry. Lisa has been a Service Manager for about 20 years, and she loves the daily challenges and the fast pace of the service department.
Hey, I’m Mark, proudly representing VW of Fairfield. Originally from Medford, Oregon, I made the move to the Golden State in 2023. My journey in the automotive industry started back in 1985, coming from a background in banking. My favorite model? The VW Karmann Ghia. Its swoopy design and air-cooled charm speak to me—I’m currently building a custom version of one. Outside of work, I’m all about custom air-cooled VWs. My passion extends to collecting Herbie The Love Bug memorabilia and various toy VW Bugs—I’ve collected over 1000 of them! Married for over 43 years, I’m a family guy with 2 kids and 7 grandkids. Monette was born and raised in the Philippines, where the universal language is Tagalog. She also speaks another dialect called Kapampangan, in addition to English. She moved here in June 2019 from the Philippines. She previously worked at BMW of Fairfield and then joined our team here at VW of Fairfield in 2023! Before automotive, she had jobs such as retail sales, construction, and barista at Starbucks, but she mostly worked in hospitality for 7 years at a hotel.
